Exploration<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As my team grew, I tackled <strong>Dark Cave<\/strong>, explored the <strong>Ruins of Alph<\/strong>, and earned a key trade for an <strong>Onix<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cyndaquil evolved as we made our way through <strong>Union Cave<\/strong>, arriving at <strong>Azalea Town<\/strong>, where <strong>Team Rocket<\/strong> had taken over the <strong>Slowpoke Well<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After helping <strong>Kurt<\/strong>, I earned my second badge and faced off against the rival once again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span><i class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/span><strong>Through Forests, Cities, and Caves<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A chase after <strong>Farfetch\u2019d<\/strong> in <strong>Ilex Forest<\/strong>, exploring <strong>Goldenrod<\/strong>, and a tough fight against <strong>Whitney\u2019s Miltank<\/strong> were big moments early on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participated in the <strong>Bug Catching Contest<\/strong>, picked up key items like the <strong>SquirtBottle<\/strong>, and eventually made it to <strong>Ecruteak City<\/strong>, where I encountered the <strong>Legendary Beasts<\/strong> and battled <strong>Morty<\/strong> in the Ghost-type gym.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span><i class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/span><strong>Surf, Storms, and Secrets<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The journey continued west toward <strong>Olivine<\/strong> and south to <strong>Cianwood<\/strong>, where I earned the <strong>Storm Badge<\/strong> and delivered medicine to <strong>Amphy<\/strong> back in the lighthouse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From there, I explored the <strong>Lake of Rage<\/strong>, caught the <strong>Red Gyarados<\/strong>, and uncovered <strong>Team Rocket\u2019s<\/strong> secret signal plot with <strong>Lance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span><i class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/span><strong>Battles Heat Up<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After shutting down the <strong>Rocket Hideout<\/strong> and winning more badges, I tackled the <strong>Radio Tower takeover<\/strong> in Goldenrod and unlocked the <strong>Tin Tower<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Made my way through the <strong>Ice Path<\/strong>, failed once (then succeeded!) against <strong>Clair<\/strong>, and proved myself worthy of the final badge via the <strong>Dragon Shrine<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span><i class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/span><strong>Legendary Encounters &amp; Final Tests<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With all 8 badges earned, I captured <strong>Suicune<\/strong> after a long Pok\u00e9 Ball battle (and eventually had to use the <strong>Master Ball!<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Miltank was finally healed with enough berries, and the team made its way through <strong>Victory Road<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After a bit of last-minute training, I took on the <strong>Elite Four<\/strong> \u2013 and beat them all on the <strong>first attempt<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span><i class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/span><strong>Final Thoughts<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pok\u00e9mon Crystal holds up incredibly well with its expanded story, improved visuals, and the inclusion of new Pok\u00e9mon mechanics like breeding, time-of-day, and roaming Legendaries.
