Homemade recipe using windfall cooking apples
🧾 Ingredients:
- Freshly juiced Bramley apples – ½ pint (approx. 285 ml)
- Caster sugar – 2 teaspoons
- Coconut water – 150 ml (adjust to taste)
🥣 Method:
- Juice your Bramley apples. (If using windfall apples, wash and cut out bruised parts first.)
- Measure out ½ pint (285 ml) of the fresh juice.
- Stir in 2 teaspoons of caster sugar until fully dissolved.
- Add 150 ml of coconut water, mix thoroughly.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or dilution if needed.
- Serve chilled or over ice. Enjoy!
📦 Optional:
- Bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
- For longer storage, heat to 75–80°C to pasteurise before bottling.
